Who am I

Hi, my name is David Carlos. I'm a Brazilian developer, graduated on software engineering by the University of Brasilia. Here are some of the projects that I am or that I used to contribute to.

Google summer of Code (GSOC)

On 2017 I have participated of Google's program that encourages students to contribute to open source projects. On this program I have worked on a project called kiskadee, a continuous static analysis tool which writes the analysis results into a firehose database.

This post is a resume of my work on GSoC.

Open Source Projects contributions

Noosfero

Noosfero is a web platform for social and solidarity economy networks with blog, e-Porfolios, CMS, RSS, thematic discussion, events agenda and collective intelligence for solidarity economy in the same system.

I had made several contributions to the project, including help the project to migrate from Rails 3 to Rails 4.

Here is a list of merge requests that I sent to the project.

GHI

GitHub Issues on the command line.

Radar Parlamentar

Processing legislative votes

Debian

I maintain a package called urlscan on Debian. This package makes the parse of urls from html files. It is useful to access urls inside the mutt mail client.

Fedora

I'm starting to contribute to the Fedora project. Here you can find a list of bugs that I submitted to the bugzilla system.

Firehose

Interchange format for results for static analysis tools. This project is used as dependency of Kiskadee.

Kiskadee

kiskadee is a continuous static analysis tool which writes the analysis results into a firehose database. It is the result of my work on GSoC, and is still in development. Our objective is to add kiskadee below the Fedora infrastructure umbrella.
